Submission Guidelines
Use the following checklist to assure proper format:
- All manuscripts should be completed in Microsoft Word
- The first page should have 1-inch top and bottom margins, whereas the side margins should be .75 inch and there should be .3 inch between the two columns. All other pages should have 1-inch top and .75-inch bottom margins.
- The font for the title of paper, the name of authors and section headings should be Calibri both in bold and each word capitalized: the title in 18 point, the names of authors in 14 point and section headings in 12 point.
- The font for text and footnotes should be Times New Roman with text in 12 point and footnotes in 10 point.
- There should be a double space between the title and the names of the authors.
- There should be a double space between the names of authors and the short abstract.
- The abstract in italics and the text body should be Times New Roman in 11 point.
- All major headings should be centered within the column, bold, each word capitalized, and in Calibri 12 point.
- The first heading should start a double space below the abstract. Successive headings should have a double space above and below.
- The paragraphs should be indented 3 spaces and for the references, the second and consecutive lines of the reference should be indented 3 spaces.
- Authors should not refer to themselves either directly or indirectly in the manuscript or use personal pronouns.
- The footnotes should be consecutively numbered within the text.
- The length of the manuscript should not exceed 15 pages, single-spaced (including footnotes, references, appendices, and charts/figures/tables). Papers exceeding 15 pages will require payment of $30 per page or fraction, due with the final submission.
- Spelling, grammar, and punctuation are the responsibility of the author(s).
- The writers should avoid inconsistency in the use of abbreviations, terminology, and in citation of references.
- The final version submitted must include two hard copies printed in the proper format along with an electronic file attached to an e-mail to the editor.
Tables, Figures, and Illustrations
All tables, figures, illustrations, etc., should be placed within the text. Always use the computer or black ink and professional drawing instruments. The title of the article and author(s) should be written lightly on the back of these items, to prevent misplacement. The typing of the table should be consistent with the text. Please avoid placing tables horizontally.
