Inside the Classroom
Blackboard
- Blackboard is course management software. Faculty can add materials for their classes and students are able to access that material for the classes they are taking.

MyUSI
- MyUSI is USI’s portal which allows access to multiple products with one easy login. One of these products is Blackboard. Other school services include email, class registration, degree audits, and an unofficial transcript of grades. Numerous additional channels are available for designing your own tabs with the information you want and use.
- The student's Username is a Person ID assigned by USI. To determine what your Person ID is, go to: https://www.usi.edu/webservices/lookup/.
- The student's Password is initially a randomly generated 6-digit number assigned by USI, but may be different if changed at any time by the student. Newly admitted students receive this in a letter from the Admissions Office. If students cannot recall what their Password is, go to the USI Computer Center office (in the lower level of the Orr Building) with a picture ID and they will be able to assist you.

Calendar
- See what's on the College of Business calendar.
- See what's on the USI calendar.
- Enter a date for an event or club meeting so it will show on the College of Business website in addition to other sites including the USI home page.
- Anyone with a MyUSI Person ID can make additions to the USI Calendar.
- Go to the USI Calendar.
- Click on "Sign in" in the upper right corner.
- Enter your MyUSI login information.
- Click on "Submit an event" on the left.
- Fill out the appropriate information. Take care with the "Primary Sponsor" field. Be sure to enter one of the following:
- College of Business
- Accounting & Business Law
- Economics & Finance
- Management, MIS, & ACS
- Marketing & Business Communication
- When finished, click on "Add event" at the bottom.
- Someone will check the entry and activate it to be visible on the calendar. Sometimes this process takes a day or two.
