Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS) accounting case study
- 2011 Competition
• Entry deadline is Oct. 20, 2011
• If you would like to be considered for a team please notify Jeanette Maier-Lytle
• Topic of competition is Knowledge Management
• Oct 21: Case is distributed to the teams giving them 10 days to complete the case
• Oct. 31: Case is due to Ali Paul no later than 5:00 p.m. EST
• Nov. 11: Schools will be notified of finalists
• Nov. 18: Six finalists will give oral presentations to the panel of judges
with
formal awards recognition that evening.

- 2013 Competition

Teams of students respond to a case (published in Strategic Finance) by
preparing and submitting a videotaped presentation to a panel of judges selected
from IMA members. This very exciting competition presents students with
real-life challenges and the opportunity to:
• analyze a case;
• develop a solution;
• present it to an audience; and
• receive recognition for their efforts
The videotaped presentations must be posted on YouTube by February 1, 2013.
The IMA panel of judges will select the top four teams by May 31, 2013, and the
finalists will present their case recommendations at the IMA Conference in New Orleans June 22-26, 2013.
