The USI Society for
Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the leading voice of
the human resource profession and is sponsored by the Evansville-Area
Human Resource
Association (EHRA).
Benefits of student membership in
SHRM include a monthly magazine and newspaper, a student newsletter, research assistance,
networking opportunities, and scholarships and awards.
Activities of the Club include monthly programs,
participation in EHRA events, the annual Career Development Seminar, "shadow
days," company visits, and developing internship opportunities.
Participating in these activities will build your knowledge
of the human resource field while developing valuable leadership and organizational
skills. Through interaction with local human resource managers, you will make
contacts today that could help you find a job tomorrow.

Congratulations to the members of the 2007
Human Resource Team, Lexi Lake, Holly VanGorp, and Alyssa Christian, which finished second in the Indiana state HR
Games competition. |
