The University of Southern Indiana College of Business is accredited in both undergraduate and graduate programs from the AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.  This distinction has been accorded to only 463 institutions of the 1,680 business programs in the United States.

The USI Accounting program has earned a separate accreditation from the AACSB International, a distinction shared by only 169 of these accredited institutions.  Accounting students have excelled in regional and national competitions, winning the Indiana CPA Society's Student Case Competition the past four years and have been finalists in the IMA Student Case Competition for three years in a row and won in 2008.
